Just in time for his country's independence day, Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez landed in Caracas after undergoing cancer treatment in Cuba. "I'm fine. I'm happy," he said. "A perfect landing." Cuban President Raúl Castro saw Chávez off in Havana, saluting and then waving goodbye. Chávez landed in Caracas at 2 a.m. local time and greeted his vice president and elder brother on the tarmac. In a telephone interview later, he told state television that he was having breakfast. "I'm devouring everything," he said. “It's the beginning of my return!”
