President Obama kicked off his first Twitter town hall Wednesday afternoon, encouraging users to ask him questions. He started with a demonstration, typing a question to himself on a laptop on a podium at the White House: "In order to reduce the deficit, what costs would you cut and what investments would you keep?" He didn't answer the question, but he did answer Republican House Speaker John Boehner, who asked Obama, "Where are the jobs?" "This is a slightly skewed question," Obama said, then noted that the economy is, in fact, creating jobs, though not at a satisfactory pace. He said there was more the government could do but the Republicans haven't been always supportive.
