A Wyoming man was charged Friday with quadruple murder after he shot and killed his three children and another relative in his home. Police said the man, Everett E. Conant III, also shot and injured his wife, Suzette Ann Conant. A local police officer said he found the woman, shot in the leg and shoulder, after responding to a call of screaming and shots fired at a Wheatland home. She said her husband was still in the house and armed, and said her children may have been shot. Police were able to coax Conant out of the house “without incident,” and he has been charged with the four murders as well as attempted murder, aggravated battery, and possession of a deadly weapon with unlawful intent. A judge ordered Conant held without bail.
