When Rupert Murdoch called Rebekah Brooks his No. 1 priority, he apparently meant it: Brooks is still on the News Corp. payroll, according to a report in The Telegraph. “My understanding is that Rupert has told her to travel the world on him for a year and then he will find a job for her when the scandal has died down,” a source told the paper over the weekend. Asked about the report, the company referred The Telegraph to Brooks’ personal publicist, who said, “No comment.”
