She also won best collaboration with Kanye West, joking, "Now this is a time you want to interrupt me right, Kanye?" when they accepted their award. Justin Bieber, meanwhile, won best male video for “U Smile,” kissing his girlfriend Selena Gomez and thanking Jesus; Lady Gaga won best female video for “Born This Way,” accepting the award as her male alter-ego Jo Calderone.
