    Katia Roars to Category 4 Status

    Not this again. Hurricane Katia picked up steam in the Atlantic on Monday and was upgraded to a Category 4 storm. Katia still remains isolated in the Atlantic Ocean. The storm threatens to send dangerously strong rip currents to the East Coast. Katia is presently about 500 miles south of Bermuda and current projections show it moving northward—and avoiding landfall.
