Two Men Use Dead Friend’s ATM

Denver Police Department

Robert Young, 43 (left), and Mark Rubinson, 25, are charged with abusing a corpse, identity theft and criminal impersonation, after allegedly using a dead friend's ATM card to fund a night of drinking, dinner and a strip club. While Young and Rubinson painted the town red, Jeffrey Jarrett's corpse sat in the car.

In a scenario out of Weekend at Bernie’s, two men have been charged with identify theft and corpse abuse after driving around with a dead friend in their car and using his ATM card at a strip club. While it’s not clear how Jeffrey Jarrett died, neither of the two suspicious characters who withdrew $400 in cash from his bank account to splurge at Shotgun Willie’s strip joint in Denver have been charged in his death. Jarrett’s family is awaiting the toxicology report, while his “friends” Robert Jeffrey Young and Mark Robinson have been let out of jail on bond.
