'Real Steel' Wins Opening Box Office

Want to watch robots box? Apparently a lot of people do, too. Real Steel, starring Hugh Jackman—and robot boxers—topped the Friday opening box office with $8.6 million. The flick is headed for a $24 million debut, short of the $30 million hoped by producers. The George Clooney-directed Ides of March, starring Ryan Gosling, raked in $3.5 million for a distant second.
