    Tibetan Nun Self-Immolates

    A Tibetan nun died Tuesday after she lit herself on fire to protest the Chinese occupation of her homeland. The nun, 20-year-old Tenzin Wangmo, lived in China’s Sichuan province at a monastery where seven monks have also self-immolated in protest in recent months. Tenzin is said to have called for Tibetan freedom before she died.
