    Hillary Clinton Lands in Kabul

    Secretary of State Hillary Clinton dropped in for a surprise visit to Afghanistan Thursday in what appears to be mostly be a good-will tour. Clinton reaffirmed the U.S.’s commitment to Afghanistan while promising to protect women’s and minority rights. “I am here to have a reality check,” Clinton said. “I want to hear what people in Afghanistan are thinking about the way forward.” She will also meet with President Hamid Karzai during her visit.
