Rep. Gabrielle Giffords is determined to return to Congress. In a new book written by her husband, former astronaut Mark Kelly, she vows to return to politics. The book details the Arizona congresswoman’s recovery after being shot in the head last January. The final chapter is “Gabby’s Voice,” and consists of short sentences and phrases, including, "I will get stronger. I will return." Giffords appeared on the House floor on Aug. 1 to vote for the debt-ceiling deal, but otherwise she has spent most of her time at a Houston rehabilitation center, learning how to walk and talk again.
