Israel Kills Palestinian Militant

An Israeli air strike in the southern Gaza Strip killed a Palestinian member of Islamic Jihad and injured two people. Islamic Jihad claimed all three were its members. Israel confirmed that its aircraft fired on militants, but a military spokesman said the militants were preparing to fire a rocket into Israel. Palestinian militants fired a rocket into southern Israel on Friday, but it caused no injuries or damage.
