    Michelle Launches 'Women for Obama'

    The first lady is appealing to women to help make sure her husband is reelected. In a letter sent to supporters announcing Women for Obama, a fundraising group for the reelection campaign, she notes the grassroots efforts so critical to the success of his 2008 campaign. Mrs. Obama explains that her husband highly values women’s issues because he was raised by his mother and grandmother. “Women have always been the heart of the Obama organization,” she writes. “And right now, it's time for us all to dig deep, step up, and keep building this campaign together.”
