It’s hard to say who looked worse today—Tim Tebow or Mark Sanchez. Jets quarterback Sanchez turned over the ball three times to help the Giants defeat the Jets 29–14. Though neither team brought its A game, the Giants victory will position them for a shot at the National Football Conference’s East division championship. They are just half a game behind the Dallas Cowboys, and will meet for the title on Jan. 1. Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw ran two touchdowns, and receiver Victor Cruz broke two franchise records, leading ESPN to call him “Santa Cruz.” Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Bengals beat the St. Louis Cardinals 23–16, keeping the Bengals in contention for a playoff spot.
