Perry: ‘Give Me a Second Look’

    After giving up on New Hampshire, Texas Gov. Rick Perry is hanging his last hopes for the GOP presidential race on South Carolina, a state traditionally friendly to his evangelical-flavored anti-government message. “Give me a second look. Look at my record,” Perry told an audience there Monday. “I don't quit. I’m not about to quit on this country.” Polls show Perry in fifth place in South Carolina after his disastrous showing in Iowa.
