Nebraska received more than a foot of snow after a winter storm that had already hit Colorado moved east Saturday. Much of Nebraska received eight to 12 inches of snow, and McPherson County got more than 20 inches. The storm also caused massive power outages in the state, with about 10,000 Nebraska customers without power as of midday Saturday. More than 600 flights had been canceled Friday in Denver, and parts of Colorado received four feet of snow, but the winter-storm warnings there expired by Saturday afternoon—not the case in Nebraska.
