Stephen Colbert is back, and just in time for whatever crazy thing Rick Santorum says next. After taking a sudden break last Wednesday—after never missing a scheduled episode—the king of late-night news satire will return Monday. Repeat episodes of the show were aired on Wednesday and Thursday of last week. Sources close to Colbert reported that the host needed time off to care for his 91-year-old mother, but those reports were never confirmed. Novelist Ann Patchett is Colbert’s scheduled guest for Monday night, according to the show’s website.
