Blade Runner and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective star Sean Young says she wants an apology from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences after she was arrested outside the Governors Ball, the official Oscars after-party. Young allegedly slapped a security guard who tried to remove her from outside the party Saturday evening, and she was placed under citizen’s arrest. Young, dressed in a ball gown, was booked for investigation of misdemeanor battery and released on $20,000 bail. She later wrote on Facebook that she could file suit against the Academy but felt “a public apology to me would be much better.” Young was caught crashing the Vanity Fair after-party in 2006, and in 2008 she entered alcohol rehabilitation after being tossed out of the Directors Guild of America awards. TMZ reports that she had been taking pictures with stars like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and Sandra Bullock before the arrest.
