The Huffington Post has gotten in touch with some of Rick Santorum's old frat brothers from Penn State, who don't remember sharing a house with a conservative cultural warrior. "I played a lot of basketball with him and a lot of poker with him," recalls one bro, David Vodercrone, who notes Santorum smoked cigars, drank beer, and served drinks at the frat's regular parties. The house members also have difficulty corroborating Santorum's story of being "singled out" and "ridiculed" at college for his conservative views. "I wasn't aware of any oppression of any sort," said Vodercrone. And, in the words of frat brother Randy Fardelmann, Tau Epsilon Phi "was a very conservative fraternity."
