North Korea Preps Rocket Launch

    Uh oh. North Korea has positioned a long-range rocket for a planned launch later this month. The country’s officials insist that the launch is for “peaceful purposes” and will send a satellite into orbit, but South Korea claims that new satellite images suggest it will be a third nuclear test. “Recent satellite images led us to conclude the North has been secretly digging a new underground tunnel in the nuclear test site ... besides two others where the previous tests were conducted,” a South Korean official said.
