Ted Nugent Fined in Bear Killing

The rock star filed a plea deal after admitting to killing a bear with a bow and arrow in Alaska. The hunt took place in 2009 during the filming of Nugent’s reality show Spirit of the Wild. The avid hunter wounded another bear a few days earlier, and Alaska law stipulates that only one bear can be wounded or killed each season. Nugent agreed to pay a $10,000 fine and not hunt or fish within Alaska and U.S. Forest Service lands for a year.
