    Sen. Claire McCaskill Takes On Super PACs

    U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill is fighting back against conservative super PACs that have made her the subject of millions of dollars worth of TV and radio ads. The Missouri Democrat is hoping to attract support by arguing that the super PACs opposing her are motivated by corporate interests. “You make one company mad by casting a principled vote, and they say, ‘OK, we’ll just gin up $10 million of our corporate money and take her out anonymously,’” McCaskill says of her new campaign approach. “I think if people figure out that’s what’s going on, they’re going to be very turned off by it.”
