Segel Gets ‘Rejection Letter’ From Clinton

Jason Segel has blabbed on the red carpet about his dreams of starring with Hillary Clinton, telling Us Weekly he just felt like she’d be “good at comedy.” The secretary of state apparently got wind of his admiration and wrote the Five-Year Engagement star a thoughtful “rejection letter,” which he shared with the audience during an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Judging from her letter, Segel was right about Clinton’s comic knack. She writes that she’s “a little occupied at the moment, but perhaps someday I can help you forget Sarah Marshall…again.” Her one “non-negotiable” condition is “that there be Muppets involved.”
