Obama Leading in California

President Obama looks poised to win California in November, according to a new poll by the Los Angeles Times and USC Dornsife. The president is leading Republican challenger Mitt Romney 56 percent to 37 percent, despite Romney’s recent national success. George H.W. Bush was the last Republican presidential nominee to be victorious in California. So, if Obama were to take the state again, he’d be perpetuating an overall liberal trend that has lasted since 1992.
