Romney Reacts to Newsweek Cover

Mitt Romney said that when Newsweek asked if he is “too wimpy” to president, it was the same as when the magazine “tried that on George Herbert Walker Bush, he was a pretty great president,” after Newsweek’s cover article. The Republican presidential nominee also said it was the first time he has ever been called a wimp, and he said “if I worried about what the media said, I wouldn’t get much sleep, and I sleep pretty well now.” Meanwhile, his foreign-policy adviser, Robert O’Brien, said the magazine “returned to the same failed playbook” and called Romney a “steely-nerved businessman.”
