McCaskill Trailing All Potential Opponents

According to a new poll commissioned by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and News 4, Missouri Democrat Claire McCaskill is trailing all three of the Republicans vying for her Senate seat. Missouri’s Republican primary will be held Aug. 7 to determine whether McCaskill will be up against businessman John Brunner, Rep. Todd Akin, or former state treasurer Sarah Steelman. According to the same poll, Brunner currently looks poised to challenge the incumbent.
