Newt Gingrich thinks Mitt Romney could be doing much better job of campaigning against President Obama in battleground states, and he made his thoughts clear Wednesday. “The Romney campaign has yet to find a thematic way of explaining itself and laying out in a clear, crisp way the difference between Romney and Obama. And I think that frankly is a problem” the former speaker and Mitt’s former primary opponent said on CNN. Gingrich was responding to a question about why the Republican presidential candidate is lagging in the polls in both Florida and Ohio. He also nodded to the Obama team’s success at painting their ideal picture of Romney for voters with a huge spending push earlier in the campaign.
