Cuban officials released an anti-Castro blogger Friday after she spent 30 hours in jail for planning to cover the criminal trial of a Spanish politician. This happened again this weekend when Cuba’s best-known blogger, Yoani Sánchez, was arrested Thursday as she planned to cover the trial of Angel Carromero, who is accused of killing a Cuban dissident in a car crash this summer. As news of Sanchez’s arrest spread worldwide, she was released.
