Romney: Obama Failed in Mideast

    Did Mitt Romney channel Reagan or Chevy Chase? In a speech titled “The Mantle of Leadership,” the Republican candidate dipped into the testy waters of foreign policy Monday. His stance on Syria: arm the rebels, they’re just like us! Libya: Al Qaeda and freedom-haters attacked the embassy. Palestine: Ignore my “47 percent” videotape comments and let’s form a democratic state. The speech,  given at the Virginia Military Institute, showcased Romney as a peace-loving leader—unlike Obama. The president’s traveling press secretary Jen Psaki thinks Mitt’s bonkers. “The only person who has offended Europe more is probably Chevy Chase,” she said.
