    Ann Romney: If Mitt Loses, We’re Done

    THE VIEW - “The View” welcomed Ann Romney, wife of Governor Mitt Romney, the Republican nominee for President, who made her first solo appearance on the show, live THURSDAY, OCTOBER 18 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET). Mrs. Romney will sit down for an interview with “The View” hosts Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd as part of the show’s continuing “Red, White & View” campaign, which is committed to political guests and discussions. She previously appeared on “The View” with Governor Romney on February 1, 2011. "The View" airs Monday-Friday (11:00 am-12:00 pm, ET) on the ABC Television Network.

    These presidential campaigns have been fun and all, but if Romney loses in November, he’s done, says his wife. Ann told the hosts of The View Thursday morning that entering this year’s campaign after losing the 2008 GOP primary was “a very hard thing” on the Romney family, and while she believes Mitt can save the U.S. economy, this is “absolutely” the last time they’ll try to persuade the American people to feel the same.
