A Texas judge ruled on Thursday that a group of cheerleaders could continue to use banners displaying Bible verses at football games for their public school, at least until the end of the season. The decision comes on the heels of a public display of support for the cheerleaders from Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who cited a state law mandating that religious and secular views of students be treated in the same manner by school districts. The next trial in the case is set for June 24, 2013.
