    Cannibal Cop Registered for Cookware

Gilberto Valle, the NYPD officer dubbed the “Cannibal Cop” because of his alleged plans to cook and eat upward of 100 women, had a wedding registry brimming with cookware. Normal, sure. But given recent developments, also nauseatingly ironic. Valle and his now estranged wife, Kathleen Mangan, had registered for baking pans, stainless-steel pots, an immersion blender, a food processor, and Rachael Ray’s Oven Lovin’ $137, 10-piece cookware set. Non-human-eating-related items included pillows and a Downton Abbey DVD set. Also unearthed is Valle’s OkCupid profile, where he says he enjoys “telling corny jokes [and] finding humor in most situations.” He also goes into a lengthy description of his favorite book, Dr. Seuss’s Green Eggs and Ham.
