‘Wreck-It Ralph’ Grosses $49.1M

    Break box-office records? Check. Disney’s newest animated offering, Wreck-It Ralph, about a video gamecharacter who leaves nothing in his path unsmashed, barreled its way through the studio’s animation records this weekend. The film grossed $49.1 million in ticket sales at box offices, a record for a Disney cartoon feature. Flight, starring Denzel Washington, came in second with $25 million in receipts, and Iranian-hostage thriller Argo drew in $10.2 million.
