U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice is refuting allegations that she spread misinformation after the attack in Benghazi, Libya. Sen. John McCain and other Republicans have widely attacked Rice’s initially false comments alleging the attack stemmed from an anti-Muslim film. On Wednesday, Rice defended her comments to reporters, saying, “I relied solely and squarely on the information provided to me by the intelligence community,” Rice explained. “I made clear that the information was preliminary, and that our investigations would give us the definitive answers.”
