Santa Claus is coming to town—but only if you aren't shopping at Debenhams. The British department store chain announced Friday that it would not be hosting jolly old St. Nicks in any of its stores this year. But the store isn't as much of a Grinch as it may seem: a spokeswoman chalked up the decision to the good of the children. She explained that due to the influx of Kris Kringles in other stores, "we had complaints from parents saying there were too many, which was confusing their young children." Hopefully the decision won't affect store management's status on the real Father Christmas's naughty-or-nice list.
