Iran Hit By 5.5 Magnitude Quake

Eastern Iran was hit with a moderately powerful 5.5-magnitude earthquake Wednesday, injuring 20, and killing at least eight. The earthquake affected the South Khorasan province, which is near the Afghan border, according to local news. Twelve villages were touched by the quake. Just this last August, 300 people died in two large quakes in north-western Iran.
