An apology isn’t going to get Senator Crapo out of this one. The Idaho Republican—and supposedly observant Mormon—may feel bad about getting a DUI, but eventually he’s going to have to face the law. The drunk-driving social and fiscal conservative will go to court Jan. 4. Mike Crapo, who has claimed he abstains from alcohol because of his Mormon faith, was released on $1,000 bond after being pulled over for running a red light and being taken into custody for driving under the influence early Sunday morning.
