Biden Set for More Gun Talks

    Too bad 30 Rock is just a show—a Donaghy-Biden meeting would be gold. The vice president will meet not only with the NRA on Thursday, but also with representatives of Comcast (the parent company of NBC Universal), broadcasters, and movie-theater owners as part of the president’s task force on gun laws. On Wednesday, Biden said that “executive action” will be taken on guns, although NRA president David Keene then called the task force “disingenuous” and attacked it for “going after the Second Amendment.” The president formed the task force in the wake of the shooting in Newtown, Conn., that left 20 children and seven adults dead.
