Florida Gov. Gave Back Dog

Hopefully Gail Collins will catch wind of this story. Florida Gov. Rick Scott gave back the Labrador retriever his family adopted during his 2010 campaign for governor, the Tampa Bay Times claimed on Monday. Shortly after winning the GOP nomination, Scott and his family adopted the dog and named him Reagan after launching a Facebook campaign to help choose a name. But the last time Reagan has been seen publicly was the day before Scott was sworn in as governor in 2011. Now Scott admitted he had given back Reagan, since he was a rescue dog and “scared the living daylights” out of people at the governor’s mansion. The family has adopted another rescue dog, 7-year-old Tallee.
