Things are really getting intense on Capitol Hill. Sen. John McCain said on Tuesday that he will get answers from Sen. John Kerry in his confirmation hearings—even if it means that McCain will have to waterboard Kerry. “We will look forward to interrogating him at his hearing next week, mercilessly,” McCain said. “We will bring back for the only time waterboarding to get the truth out of him.” Kerry will appear Thursday before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to answer questions about his nomination as secretary of state, and is expected to easily win approval.
