    Thousands Attend Anti-Abortion Rally

    Thousands of protest marched through Washington to the steps of the Supreme Court Friday for the annual March for Life rally protesting Roe v. Wade, the landmark court decision that legalized abortion. This year’s demonstrations were of course especially significant with the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Protesters carried signs with messages such as “Defund Planned Parenthood,” and Rick Santorum was among the day’s speakers. A recent Pew Research Center poll found that 63 percent of Americans oppose overturning Roe v. Wade.
