Casey Anthony Files for Bankruptcy

It’s still better than prison. Casey Anthony has filed for bankruptcy protection in Orlando, Fla. According to the Chapter 7 Petition, Anthony owes roughly $792,000. Nearly $500,000 of that sum is money owed to her defense attorney. Anthony’s bankruptcy filing said she had only $1,084 left. In July 2011, Anthony was found not guilty for the murder of her 2-year-old daughter. However, she still faces three civil suits stemming from the case.
