Zombies are the new vampires. The zombie romantic comedy Warm Bodies topped the weekend box office, bringing in $20 million—although ticket sales were down 26 percent from last year’s Super Bowl weekend. The film was a hit among younger viewers, with 65 percent of tickets going to those younger than 25, and it hit the target demographic of those least interested in the Super Bowl: women and girls, who made up 60 percent of the audience. Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters came in second, falling 44 percent from its opening weekend, and the Oscar-nominated Silver Linings Playbook came in third, bringing its total grosses to over $80 million. Sylvester Stallone’s Bullet to the Head came in a disappointing sixth, raking in just $4.5 million.
