    More Profits Parked Abroad

    The Wall Street Journal analyzed 60 major U.S. companies, including Microsoft, Honeywell, and Johnson & Johnson, and found that last year they kept more than 40 percent of profits offshore and away from U.S. taxes. How to tax foreign earnings has long been a hot-button issue, and with high budget deficits, many will push for a change in how the U.S. collects these revenues.
