Turkish Murder Suspect Detained

    A homeless man accused of murdering a Staten Island woman in Turkey has been detained, police said on Sunday. Ziya T, a trash collector in Istanbul, allegedly has been on the run since being named a suspect in the February 2 death of Sarai Sierra, a mother of two who had been vacationing alone in Istanbul. Ziya T allegedly told a friend, “I ran, because Sarai Sierra’s murder in Istanbul will be put on me.”
