JCPenney Pleads Patience

As shoppers continue not to buy into JCPenney’s new promotional strategy, the company said Wednesday that turning itself around could take more time than expected. In the annual report filed with the SEC, JCPenney recognized that the new strategy, spearheaded by former Apple executive Ron Johnson, has not been working as quickly as it would like.
