The family-friendly fare The Croods won the weekend box office with $44.7 million in just three days, the second-best debut so far in 2013. The film, which cost $135 million to make, features the voices of Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone, and Ryan Reynolds. The action film Olympus Has Fallen came in second with an impressive $30.5 million haul in just 3,098 theaters, and Oz the Great and Powerful continued its successful run by bringing in $22 million, followed by Halle Berry’s The Call at $8.7 million. Tina Fey’s Admissions limped in at fifth with $6.4 million. Spring Breakers continued to impress, coming in sixth with $5 million in just 1,102 theaters—and considering it cost only $2 million to make, it already seems like a hit.
