Mississippi Lawmaker Found Dead

    A Mississippi lawmaker was found dead from a single gunshot wound to the head at the home of a former state representative on Sunday night. Officials said they believe the gunshot wound was self-inflicted. Rep. Jessica Upshaw, 53, was found at the home of former state representative Clint Rotenberry, and officials said they are “processing the residence” but did not indicate any link to why she was found there. No details on Upshaw’s death have been released.
