An illegally constructed building in a suburb of Mumbai caved in on itself, killing at least 41 people, including 11 children. More than 20 people remain missing, and rescue workers are digging through the rubble in search of possible survivors. Some of the dead were construction workers, who were living in the building as they were working on it. Police are searching for the owner to arrest him. Building collapses are common in India, as builders use cheap materials or build several stories higher than they’re supposed to.
