Stocks surged broadly Wednesday to end the day at all-time record highs. Both the Dow and S&P 500 finished at record levels. The Dow Jones posted a triple-digit rally, while it only took the S&P minutes after the market opened Wednesday to soar past its all-time high of 1,576.09, set in October 2007. The Dow closed the day at 14,802.84 and the S&P ended at 1,587.73.
